Mission and Vision: Fabform Industries manufactures high quality utility trailers at a competitive price so small business owners and weekend enthusiasts can safely transport their utility and recreation equipment. Our vision is to be the premiere utility trailer manufacturer in the Northwest Region of the United States.

When was Fabform founded?  What does the future hold for your company?

Fabform was started by Rob Ikola over 30 years ago. We are a multi-generational, family-owned company that emphasizes family values, employee development and the environment. We currently employ 35 people.  We are in the process of increasing our production capacity and developing a training work-area for fabrication. This will give us the ability to develop a pipeline of fabricators in-house to fill fabrication positions as needed. This will allow us to provide further advancement for our employees.

What qualities, requirements, education/training do you look for from a potential employee?

When hiring potential employees, we prefer candidates to have a high school education. We value individuals who are humble, have an open mind and are genuinely willing to learn. Other than that, we train our employees with the skills needed for our different positions. We typically hire entry level positions and then promote from within for our more technical positions.

How does your company impact the community? 

For the last several years, Fabform Industries has provided materials and projects for students at Umpqua Community College, Roseburg High School and Glide High School to help students gain experience with production and meeting production quotas. In return, we utilize the parts for our production needs. We also support local 4-H groups and Youth for Christ.
